Venue // Rava Wines + Events | Paso Robles, California
When I pulled up to Rava Wines + Events for this Women in Wine luncheon, I had one of those quiet “okay… this is really happening” moments.
The vineyard was glowing, tables were being set, rosé was chilling, and women from all corners of the Paso wine community were arriving to celebrate each other. It felt intimate and celebratory all at once. Not stuffy. Not overproduced. Just thoughtful, beautiful, and full of energy.

Rava is already such a stunning backdrop. Rolling vines, sparkling wines, that golden light that always seems to show up at the right time. Everything about the setting felt warm and intentional. You could tell this was a gathering built on relationships and respect for the craft.
And then Vanderpump Wines became part of the afternoon.
Seeing my custom pieces layered into a luncheon that included Lisa Vanderpump and Vanderpump Wines was surreal in the best way. It added that unmistakable touch of glamour to an already beautiful Paso moment.. It brought a touch of glamour to an already beautiful Paso moment. A little pop culture sparkle from Lisa Vanderpump mixed with real Paso Robles wine country roots.
It felt elevated but still personal. Like something big was happening, but in a way that stayed grounded and connected to the community.
Seeing local wineries, neighbors, and longtime friends featured in that space made it even more special. It was not just a television moment. It was our community on display.
And yes, if you’re a Bravo fan, you might recognize this moment. The luncheon was part of Season 12 Episode 8 of Vanderpump Rules, bringing behind-the-scenes pours and just a little front-row drama to Paso Robles wine country.

Custom Stationery & Statement Signage
For this luncheon, I designed a collection of custom stationery and signage that felt cohesive with the vineyard setting while still holding its own.
The oversized welcome installation became the anchor of the afternoon. Sweeping watercolor florals in soft blush and coral tones created a romantic focal point against the vines. I wanted it to feel feminine and confident without overwhelming the space. Watching guests gather in front of it for photos, glasses in hand, was such a full circle moment.
Throughout the space, custom signage guided guests from welcome to wine pours to perfectly styled rosé moments. Clean typography and a soft palette kept everything refined and cohesive.
At each place setting, custom menus layered over patterned linens and finished with silk ribbon added warmth and intimacy to the tablescape. Those tactile details are often the ones guests remember most. The pieces they hold. The small moments that quietly elevate the entire experience.

A Celebration of Women & Wine
What made this afternoon meaningful was not just the setting or the recognizable wine label. It was the women.
Winemakers, creatives, collaborators, friends. Women building businesses, sharing stories, and celebrating each other in a space that felt both elevated and welcoming.
To see Rachell Rae Designs represented in that setting, alongside Vanderpump Wines and such an incredible vendor team, felt like a true honor. I never take moments like that lightly.
It is never just paper. It is the atmosphere. The tone. The detail that helps shape the experience.
I left feeling grateful, proud, and a little bit in awe of the community that made it all possible.
