Rachell Rae Designs is a boutique design studio specializing in custom invitation suites and signage installations for weddings, showers, and signature celebrations. We partner with couples, planners, and creative professionals to craft deeply personal, high-impact paper goods that are both functional and timelessly artful.
Every design begins with a conversation about your vision, your priorities, and the emotional tone of your event. From first sketch to day-of installation, our process is shaped by detail-driven strategy and a white-glove approach that puts your experience first.
Hi, I’m Rachell
Two Ls, No E
I began designing invitations for friends and family as a hobby more than ten years ago, and those small projects grew into a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo design major, a lifelong passion, and a typography obsession. During the long pandemic days at home with my first daughter, Rae Cierra, I launched Rachell Rae Designs with a vision to be both a present mom and a creative entrepreneur. My name carries family stories: Rachell in honor of my mom’s high school best friend, a fearless creator, and Rae as a middle name shared by six generations of strong women. So it only makes sense that this business is rooted in legacy, artistry, and heart-led design.
But at the core of it all? You + Love
Design isn’t just what I do, it’s how I care for people. My process isn’t about fitting your story into a box. It’s about asking the right questions, anticipating the little things, and designing pieces that make your day feel more vivid, more grounded, and more you. We balance emotional intent with flawless execution so every detail feels meaningful and impeccably realized.
I live on California’s Central Coast in San Luis Obispo with my husband, two daughters, Rae and Isla, and our two cats, Princess Rainbow Porcsha and Prince Feirro. I’m a Type A creative who loves a good glass of wine, a Gin and Tonic, or a chai latte with an espresso shot. You can often find me outdoors or at barre class refueling, and I draw constant inspiration from art as I refine my craft and processes.

Our Signature Process
Working with Rachell Rae Designs is more than a transaction — it’s a collaborative, guided process rooted in artistry, clarity, and care. Whether you're planning a wedding, shower, or curated event, we design with both emotion and execution in mind.
Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:
STEP ONE
Inquire
Reach out through the inquiry form with your event details, design dreams, and priorities. You’ll receive a response within 2–3 business days with availability and next-step options.
STEP Two
Discovery & Proposal
If we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule a discovery call to get to know your vision, needs, and logistics. Then, we’ll send a custom proposal outlining scope, pricing, and timeline.
STEP Three
Design & Development
Once booked, we begin the design phase: gathering inspiration, building out concepts, and refining details. You'll receive a curated design deck tailored to your story and event style.
STEP Four
Prepress, Production & Assembly
With final designs approved, we handle every technical and production detail: prepress file prep, paper sourcing, print production, specialty embellishments, guest addressing, address validation, postage sourcing, and careful assembly. You do not need to be a print expert or lift a finger.
STEP Five
Delivery & Installation
For invitation suites, we manage postage and mailing logistics and can deliver directly to the post office on your behalf. We also provide local delivery, concierge support, and on-site signage installation to ensure flawless presentation. Your design pieces are carefully packed, styled, and ready to impress.
STEP Six
